bat Cricket Betting — bet on every match from BPL to the T20 World Cup
Now bet on cricket, Bangladesh's most loved sport, through bat. T20, ODI or Test — choose your preferred market in every format and follow live odds throughout the match.
Cricket's three formats and favourite tournaments
Each format has its own pace and tactics, so the betting markets are structured differently as well.
T20
This format of just 20 overs is the fastest. Leagues like BPL and IPL are played in this format. The situation can change with every ball, so in-play markets are most active here.
One-Day International
In a 50-over match, the depth of the batting lineup and the role of middle-order batsmen matter a great deal. The ICC World Cup and bilateral series are held in this format.
Test Cricket
This five-day format is the oldest and most tactical. Pitch conditions, surface behaviour and the weather all have a direct impact on betting outcomes.
BPL, IPL and international matches
The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is the tournament closest to the hearts of cricket fans in Bangladesh. When matches are held at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka, the betting markets on bat are highly active. High-profile IPL matches, the T20 World Cup and the Bangladesh Tigers' international series — there are betting opportunities across all of them.
Alongside cricket, bat also has markets for football, tennis and other sports. However, cricket offers comparatively more markets and greater depth — especially in T20, where separate markets open for each innings. Football mainly features match winner and goals markets, without the over-by-over variation. To learn more about casino games, visit the bat casino page.
Popular betting markets and examples
Choose from a variety of cricket markets. Each market has its own rules for placing a bet.
Match Winner
Predict which team will win the match. There is no draw in T20, so you pick one of two options. Example: if you select Team A and they win, you receive a return based on the odds set for that market.
Toss Winner
Pick which team will win the toss. The outcome is settled purely on the toss result and does not depend on how the match plays out. Example: if Team B wins the toss, that bet is successful.
Top Batsman
Predict who will score the most runs within their team. Example: bet yes or no on whether a particular batsman from Team A will be the top scorer.
Total Runs Over/Under
Choose whether the total runs in the match will be over or under a set number. Example: if you think total runs will exceed 160, you can place an "over" bet.
Multi Bet
Place multiple selections on a single slip. If all selections are correct the total return is much higher, but if even one is wrong the entire slip is void. A detailed example is given in the odds section below.
Runs Per Over
Predict how many runs will be scored in a specific over. This market is most useful during in-play, as pitch conditions and bowling changes have a direct effect.
Decimal, Fractional and American Odds
Odds on bat are shown in three different formats. Work through the examples below once and you will be able to calculate any market easily.
Odds formats in plain language
- Decimal (2.25): multiply your stake by this number to get the total return. The simplest calculation.
- Fractional (5/4): the denominator is your stake, the numerator is your profit — meaning ৳5 profit on a ৳4 stake.
- American (+125): a plus sign means profit on a ৳100 stake; a minus sign (-400) means the amount you need to stake to make ৳100 profit.
These figures are calculation examples only — they are not a guarantee of winning. Betting is for entertainment; please play responsibly.
When a wicket falls, odds shift in an instant
In-play or live betting is the option to place bets while a match is in progress. In cricket this is particularly interesting, because odds update automatically after every wicket, every boundary and at the end of each powerplay.
In T20, the final five overs can completely change the picture. That is why decisions in in-play markets need to be made quickly. You can check live odds from anywhere using the bat mobile app. This feature is available on the bat App.
Practical tips for cricket betting
Betting is for entertainment. These tips are not a strategy for winning — they are for playing responsibly.
Understand the format
Pitch, weather and team composition work differently in T20, ODI and Test. Before placing a bet, understand the format of that match.
Set a budget
Decide on a fixed amount for each match in advance. Stick to that amount — do not try to chase losses by staking more.
One or two markets
Rather than betting across many markets at once, pick one or two. Focus on the markets you understand best.
Stay responsible
Never treat betting as a source of income. The responsible gaming page has tools for setting limits and further advice.
Start from just ৳300 with bKash and Nagad
A minimum deposit of ৳300 is all you need to start cricket betting on bat. Deposits and withdrawals can be made via bKash, Nagad, Rocket and bank transfer. Withdrawals are generally processed within 15 minutes to 2 hours.
New members receive a 150% bonus on their first deposit, up to ৳20,000 (wagering requirement: 25x the bonus amount). Example: a ৳1,000 deposit adds ৳1,500 in bonus, giving a balance of ৳2,500, with a wagering requirement of ৳1,500 × 25 = ৳37,500.

Football and other sports
Football is also popular on bat alongside cricket. The most commonly used football markets are match winner, both teams to score, and handicap. There is no over-by-over market as in cricket, but you can bet separately on half-time and full-time results.
bat also has markets for tennis, kabaddi and other sports. Since each sport has its own rules and markets, it is worth understanding the market for that sport before you start betting. If you are interested in casino games or slots, visit the bat slots page for full details.
